Rebekah Stiles is a Lecturer at Cairn University's School of Music, where she has taught since 2024. She is a doctoral candidate in Piano Performance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, anticipated to complete her D.M.A. in May 2025.
Rebekah holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Cairn University. Her mentors include Dr. Paul Barnes and Kenneth Borrmann.
- Research focuses on the intersection of worldview and art, particularly the musical implications of theological rifts in Christendom.
- Performance expertise in solo, chamber, and church settings with international experience.
Her 2025 doctoral document, "Creed and Variations," will analyze musical traditions across Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestant repertoires, featuring works by Bach, Messiaen, and Pärt. She received first-place honors in the 2019 Crescendo International Music Competition, including a Carnegie Hall performance.
