Rebecca Polich is an Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Biology.

Her research focuses on physiology, pathophysiology, and comparative vertebrate physiology, with applications to human anatomy and physiology and pre-health advising. She teaches courses such as Human Physiology & Anatomy, Vertebrate Physiology, and Senior Seminar.
Her recent publications highlight work on stress hormones in reptiles (e.g., corticosterone effects on turtle offspring development, human activity impacts on turtle stress levels) and methodological studies in wildlife management. She offers advising services to students through email scheduling.
