Professor Rebecca Mason is a Professor of Endocrine Physiology at the University of Sydney's School of Medical Sciences within the Sydney Medical School. She serves as Deputy Director of the Bosch Institute and is a member of the Charles Perkins Centre. Holding an MBBS (Hons) and PhD, her expertise bridges clinical endocrinology and scientific research, focusing on vitamin D, bone health, and photoprotection in skin. Her work has reshaped Australian sun exposure guidelines, emphasizing balanced UV exposure for vitamin D synthesis.
