Dr. Rebecca Livingston is a Lecturer in Psychology at Teesside University's School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law, affiliated with the Centre for Rehabilitation. She holds a PhD from Aston University (2023), MA in Health Psychology from Aston University (2018), and BA in Forensic Psychology from Liverpool John Moores University (2011).
Her research program focuses on:
- Digital health interventions for perioperative patients
- Health behavior change in vulnerable populations
- Social influences on physical activity during pregnancy
- Implementation of theory-based healthcare interventions
Recent publications demonstrate methodologically diverse approaches to healthcare improvement, including digital prehabilitation programs and multi-stakeholder service evaluations. Article analyses reveal strong emphasis on qualitative exploration of patient experiences and implementation science.
