Rebecca Krause-Galoni is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa. She holds a PhD and MS in Marketing from Northwestern University and a BS in Computer Engineering from Purdue University. Her research explores consumer interactions with unreal environments, focusing on fantasy, storytelling, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence. Her work has been published in top journals like Psychological Science and Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, with presentations at major conferences including the Association for Consumer Research and Society for Consumer Psychology. She teaches consumer behavior at the undergraduate level and serves on editorial boards as a reviewer.
