Rebecca Koller is a Researcher at the Chair of Comparative Cultural Studies, University of Regensburg, working on the third-party funded project 'Intangible Cultural Heritage in Rural Areas' (IKEL/BMEL). She holds an MA in Public History and Cultural Mediation and a BA in Comparative Cultural Studies with minors in Business Administration and Southeast European Studies.

Research Interests
Her work focuses on cultural heritage, narrative studies, industrial cultures, and regional custom cultures. She examines how historical narratives shape regional identities, particularly in post-industrial areas like Wackersdorf/Steinberg. Her research integrates folklore studies and public cultural work to explore intangible heritage preservation in rural contexts.
