Rebecca Kendall is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology at Curry College. Her work bridges criminology, victimology, and forensic psychology, with a focus on violence, victimization, and criminal justice policy reform.

Dr. Kendall’s research explores sexual offending, intimate partner violence, human trafficking, and the intersection of psychology and the law. Her dissertation investigated victimization-offending dynamics among Latino youth, and she has contributed to the Journal of Interpersonal Violence and Criminal Justice Policy Review with book chapters on topics like intimate partner violence prevention in underserved populations and desistance from sexual offending.

She teaches courses including Criminology, Domestic Violence, Corrections, and Methods in Social Research at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Prior to joining Curry College, she instructed psychology and law courses at Northeastern University. Dr. Kendall also has clinical experience in mental health and sex offender treatment within Massachusetts state prisons.
Actively engaged in advocacy, she serves on the board of the Criminal Justice Policy Coalition, a Massachusetts-based non-profit promoting humane criminal justice policies. Her work addresses systemic issues in victimization, offender rehabilitation, and policy development.
