Rebecca Karni is a Lecturer in the Department of Literary Arts and Studies at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work focuses on 20th- and 21st-century global literatures, postcolonial studies, affect theory, and ecocriticism, with a particular emphasis on Japanese-British and transnational narratives.
