Rebecca Harvey is an Associate Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU), where she also serves as the Admissions Coordinator. With over two decades of clinical experience, she specializes in LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, feminist and queer theory, and clinical supervision.

Her scholarship includes co-authoring Nurturing Queer Youth: Family Therapy Transformed and co-editing the upcoming 2nd Edition of the Handbook of LGBTQ Affirmative Couple and Family Therapy. Recent publications examine bisexuality in carceral systems and identity intersections in queer youth.
Grants and Collaborations include multiple Narrative 4 initiatives at SCSU, focusing on racial justice, empathy-building, and social equity. Her work integrates systemic family therapy with critical pedagogy to address structural violence and promote therapeutic innovation.
