Rebecca Goodman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, Chapman University. She holds a BA in English and Creative Writing from the University of Southern California (1989) and an MFA in Creative Writing from Chapman University (2004).

Her research and creative work focuses on contemporary fiction, trauma narratives, and literary pedagogy. Recent publications include the novel Forgotten Night (Spuyten Duyvil, 2023), which explores intersections of memory and identity. Her work spans both academic and creative forms, including co-authorship of the composition textbook The Assignment: Why Am I Writing This Essay (2011).
