Jennifer Carr is a Lecturer at the Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, Chapman University. She teaches creative writing, literature, and composition, leveraging her expertise in both fiction and nonfiction writing.

Her research interests center on Creative Writing, Literary Studies, and Composition, with a focus on Travel Writing and narrative storytelling. Her work has appeared in journals such as Boom California, Baltimore Review, Panorama Journal of Intelligent Travel, and Origins Journal, as well as the anthology Writing the Golden State (Angel City Press, 2024). Her pedagogical experience spans over two decades, with a consistent emphasis on creative and expository writing.
