Rebecca Burrow

Rebecca Burrow serves as an Instructor in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing, a role she assumed in August 2022.

Burrow's educational journey includes:

• Diploma of Nursing from Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University
• Master of Science in Nursing in Nursing Education with a focus in Maternal-Child Health from Union University (2017)
• Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville

Her clinical and research expertise centers on Women's Health, Maternal-Child Health, and Forensic Nursing. With extensive hands-on experience in labor and delivery units, neonatal intensive care, and high-risk pregnancy settings across Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee, she brings deep practical knowledge to Reproductive Health and obstetric care. Her certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), and Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) directly inform her specialization in women's health across the lifespan, particularly in menopause management and sexual health.

Burrow actively contributes to the field through membership in key professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, the Menopause Society, and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing, demonstrating her commitment to advancing evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration in women's healthcare.
