Rebecca Baines

Rebecca Baines is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Peninsula Medical School, University of Plymouth, specializing in Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) research. She serves as the Patient and Public Involvement Research Theme Lead and supervises PhD students.

Her research focuses on:

• Systematic review methodologies
• Patient data sharing perspectives
• Digital health interventions
• Mixed methods approaches in health research

Her teaching includes the MClinEd module 'Patient and Public Involvement in assessment' and the Medical Humanities SSU 'The war inside my mind - engaging with those surviving combat PTSD'.

Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through research on health inequalities and digital health solutions.
