Raymond G. Areaux is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, teaching Trademarks and Unfair Competition for 25 years and Privacy Law for 8 years. He is also a founding partner and chair of the intellectual property practice group at Carver, Darden, Koretzky, Tessier, Finn, Blossman & Areaux, LLC, and a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

- B.S. in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, Tulane University (1978)
- J.D., Loyola Law School (1985)
His research and professional work focus on intellectual property rights, data privacy regulations, and technology law. He has written extensively on topics like the Consumer Review Fairness Act and its implications for online terms of service compliance.
