The 2022 paper analyzes the prospective trade effects of an ECOWAS single currency using a gravity model, while the 2019 study examines real exchange rate responses to asymmetric shocks in the West African Monetary Zone using structural VAR models. These works reflect a consistent research trajectory in applied international macroeconomics and policy evaluation in developing regions.
