Raymon Hanson is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Christian Ministries at Bethel University’s College of Adult and Professional Studies. He joined Bethel in 2001 and specializes in biblical/historical studies of the Ancient Near East and Jewish influences on Christianity, emphasizing Scripture’s relevance to modern life.

Teaching & Experience: With 15+ years teaching adults in Bible interpretation, biblical theology, and ministry practices, Hanson also owns a small business and served in the military. He actively engages in local church ministries, leading Bible studies, youth classes, and retreats.
Courses Taught: Over 10 courses include Introduction to the Bible, Bible in Real Life, Significance of the Old/New Testament, and Communication in Ministry.
Professional Affiliations: Member of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) and Society of Biblical Literature (SBL).
