Ray González is a Professor Emeritus of Creative Writing at the University of Minnesota, retiring after a distinguished career in 2022. An acclaimed poet and editor, he founded the landmark Latinx literature anthologies that helped establish contemporary multicultural literary canons. González received lifetime achievement awards and three Minnesota Book Awards.
