Rawle F. Philbert

Rawle F. Philbert, D.D.S., FACD, FACS, serves as Associate Professor and Chief of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery within the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center's School of Medicine. Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he joined the faculty in 2021 after extensive clinical practice and leadership roles.

His research focuses on maxillofacial trauma management, dental implantology, and reconstructive techniques, with particular expertise in managing complex cases involving cardiac comorbidities. Clinical innovations include modified bone graft harvesting and specialized osteotomy approaches for dentoalveolar deformities.
