Ravazzi Douvan Aldo

Ravazzi Douvan Aldo is a Visiting Professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata's Department of Economics and currently serves as Chief Economist at the Italian Ministry of Environment & Energy Security. He holds key roles in international organizations, including President of the OECD Committee on Sustainable Finance and Vice-President of the OECD Committee on Environmental Policies. His work focuses on sustainable development, green growth strategies, and environmental fiscal reforms.

Recent Activities: Coordinated Italy's G20 Peer Review on Fossil Fuel Subsidies (2018) and led the G7 Environment Technical Team during Italy's 2017 G7 Presidency. Promoted the Structural Reforms Support Programme's environmental fiscal reform initiatives.

Awards: 2022 GCET Kreiser Award for contributions to environmental taxation research.

Advisory Roles & Grants: Founded the Italian Natural Capital Committee and led the first team of 15 environmental economists in Italy's public administration (2015). Coordinated projects on environmentally harmful subsidies and green budget reforms through Green Budget Europe (2015–2020).
