Rasmus Køster-Rasmussen

Rasmus Køster-Rasmussen is an Associate Professor at the Section of General Practice, Department of Public Health, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He has held roles as a Postdoc (2018–2021) and Fellow in Family Medicine (2016–2021), with additional consultancy work for the Danish College of General Practitioners (DSAM) since 2010.

• Education: MD (2005) and PhD (2015) from University of Copenhagen and Southern Denmark, respectively; advanced training in Nutritional Epidemiology (2009) and Causal Inference (2011).

Research Interests span epidemiology in family medicine, focusing on diabetes, obesity, multimorbidity, mercury pollution from small-scale gold mining, and public health interventions. His work includes longitudinal studies on diabetes outcomes, weight management strategies, and environmental health impacts of mercury.
