معرفی
Rasmus Fehrmann is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), specializing in catalysis and sustainable chemical processes. His research spans hydroformylation, ionic liquids, and environmental catalysis with significant contributions to industrial applications.
His primary research focuses on Chemical Engineering and Catalysis, particularly in developing sustainable solutions for industrial chemistry. Key areas include supported liquid-phase hydroformylation catalysts, selective catalytic reduction of NOx, and gas cleaning technologies. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals through innovations in green chemistry and resource efficiency.
Recent publications demonstrate expertise in catalyst design, solvent selection, and emission control systems. His research shows strong trends toward industrial implementation of sustainable catalytic processes, with emphasis on rhodium recovery, monolithic catalyst supports, and poisoning-resistant NOx reduction systems.
Fehrmann actively supervises PhD students including Madani, M., Li, H., and Nielsen, D. His research is supported by multiple projects including Supported Liquid-Phase Homogeneous Catalysis and Improvement in low-temperature activity for SCR of NOx.
He leads research within DTU's Department of Chemistry, working with teams focused on inorganic materials and catalysis. Current projects involve structural studies of catalysts and metal centers for small molecule activation in porous materials.
