Dr. Rashmi Jha is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Cincinnati. Her research spans artificial intelligence hardware, neuromorphic computing, nanoelectronic devices, and hardware security. With over 18 years of experience, she has made significant contributions to emerging memory technologies and secure computing architectures.
Her research interests include low-power neuromorphic systems, resistive random access memory, spintronics, hardware security, and flexible electronics. She leads projects funded by NSF, AFRL, and CDC focusing on next-generation computing platforms.
Dr. Jha has received numerous awards including the NSF CAREER Award, IBM Faculty Award, and AFOSR Summer Faculty Fellowship. She holds 13 US patents and has published extensively on nanoelectronic devices and computing architectures.
She directs research on novel memory devices for neuromorphic computing and hardware security applications. Prior to academia, she worked at IBM's Semiconductor Research and Development Center on advanced CMOS technologies.
