Yingying Wu

Yingying Wu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. Her research focuses on quantum materials, spintronics, nanoelectronics, and unconventional computing paradigms like neuromorphic systems. She holds a PhD from UCLA (2020) and completed postdoctoral research at MIT’s Center for Integrated Quantum Materials (2023).

Her work spans multiferroic heterostructures, 2D magnetic materials, and topological quantum phenomena. Notable achievements include the NSF CAREER Award (2025) and the IBM Pat Goldberg Memorial Best Paper Award (2023). She serves on editorial boards for Nanotechnology and NPJ Spintronics.
