Rasheed Adebayo Gbadegesin, MD, MBBS, is a Professor of Pediatrics at Duke University School of Medicine and the Wilburt C. Davison Distinguished Professor. He serves as the Associate Dean for Physician-Scientist Development and Director of the Office of Physician-Scientist Development (OPSD), focusing on training and supporting physician-scientists. His research centers on the molecular pathogenesis of nephrotic syndrome and other kidney diseases, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications and leadership in NIH-funded studies.
