Raquel Revuelta Iniesta

Dr. Raquel Revuelta Iniesta is a Senior Lecturer in Nutrition at the University of Exeter's Public Health and Sport Sciences department. She serves as Co-Director of the Children’s Health and Exercise Research Centre (CHERC) and is a member of the Public Health and Sport Sciences Ethics Committee. Her career spans academic roles at the University of Exeter and Queen Margaret University, alongside honorary research positions at the University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian institutions.

Her research focuses on pediatric nutrition, particularly nutritional status in cancer patients, complementary therapies in pediatric oncology, and intersections between sports science and public health. She has designed educational programs on pediatric anthropometry and contributed to the SIOP Nutrition Network and NIHR Nutrition in Children, Teenagers and Young Adults initiatives.

Dr. Revuelta Iniesta has received recognition through a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (2021). Her academic roles include programme leadership for BSc Nutrition at Queen Margaret University and ongoing teaching/research responsibilities at the University of Exeter.

She collaborates extensively with healthcare institutions such as the Royal Hospital for Sick Children (Edinburgh) and NHS Lothian, while maintaining technical expertise in pediatric oncology dietetics and research ethics.
