Raphaële Noël is a Professor in the Psychology Department at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), affiliated with UQO's Centre for Studies and Research on Family Intervention (CERIF). She maintains dual roles as an active clinician with over 20 years of private practice specializing in child psychology and perinatal issues, and as a researcher examining intense parenting situations and third-party reproduction dynamics.
Her research adopts a systemic perspective focusing on:
- Parenting transitions and perinatal bereavement
- Assisted reproductive technologies and donor conception
- Identity formation in donor-conceived families
- Third-party donor psychology and ethics
As an educator, she teaches clinical skills for children and adults alongside contemporary perinatal issues at UQAM. Her clinical background includes 15 years in Montréal's health network working with early childhood populations prior to establishing her private practice.
