Raphaël Collignon is a harpsichordist, pianist, accompanist, and lecturer at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels since 2019. He specializes in Early Music, Jazz, and Contemporary Music Theatre. His career includes performances with prestigious ensembles like the European Union Baroque Orchestra and chamber groups Sirocco (winner of the International Bonporti and Pro Musicis Competitions) and Laterna Magica.
Education: Awarded First Prize in piano and harpsichord at the Paris Conservatoire, studied Early Music and Jazz in Strasbourg, and earned a Master’s equivalence in harpsichord and the Agrégation qualification from the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels (2009).
Research and Performance: Combines musicological research with recording projects, emphasizing interdisciplinary work in historical performance and contemporary music. Active in orchestral tours across Europe, collaborations with conductors like Ton Koopman and Jordi Savall, and solo/chamber performances in venues like Carnegie Hall and the Concertgebouw.
