Raphaël Clouâtre is Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Manitoba. His research focuses on operator algebras and operator theory, with recent work exploring C*-supports and operator system rigidity.
Dr. Clouâtre's investigations center on fundamental structures in functional analysis, including extensions of operator systems and noncommutative measurable structures. His work bridges abstract algebra and functional analysis to address problems in mathematical physics.
Recent publications (2025) demonstrate advancements in understanding abnormalities in operator systems and their applications to noncommutative geometry. These contributions reflect analytical approaches to operator algebra challenges.
He currently supervises PhD students Hridoyananda Saikia and Alex Stephens in mathematical research projects.
