Rufus Willett is a Professor and Chair at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, holding a PhD from Pennsylvania State University (2009) under adviser John Roe. His research focuses on noncommutative geometry, operator algebras, and geometric analysis. He joined the institution in 2011 and served as Associate Chair from 2019 to 2021.
