Raphaela Stöckl is a Scientific Associate and research assistant at the Chair of Business Information Systems and Management Support within the Institute of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics, University of Augsburg. She has been working at the chair since summer 2020, initially as a research assistant during her studies, and then continuously since July 2023.
Her educational background includes a bachelor's and master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Augsburg.
Ms. Stöckl's research is centered on learning analytics, investigating how data analytics can enhance learner support in educational settings. Her work spans educational technology, information systems, and information security, with specific interests in digital collaboration tools, self-regulated learning, technology acceptance, and cybersecurity awareness. She applies design science research methods to innovate in higher education teaching and develops metrics for information security behavior.
Analysis of her recent publications (2024-2025) reveals a consistent theme of leveraging information systems to solve educational challenges, particularly in the design of effective learning environments and security training programs.
