Raphael Arlitt

Raphael Arlitt serves as Professor of Energy Technology at Ulm University of Applied Sciences (THU), where he additionally holds the dual administrative position of Dean of Studies for both Energy Engineering and Environmental Engineering degree programs. His academic leadership spans curriculum development, student advising, and program administration across these interdisciplinary engineering disciplines.

Professor Arlitt's research expertise centers on renewable energy systems with particular specialization in wind power technology. His work encompasses:

• Wind farm planning and energy meteorology including historical data analysis and forecasting
• Alternative renewable sources including wave energy, tidal current energy, and hydropower
• Physical simulation of coupled systems including electrical and hydraulic networks
• Wind turbine technology and climate change impacts on renewable energy infrastructure
