Dr. Rania Hodhod is a Professor and Department Chair at the TSYS School of Computer Science, Columbus State University. She teaches and supervises undergraduate and graduate students, with over 100 refereed publications in fields spanning artificial intelligence, computational creativity, and serious games.

- M.Sc. in Computer and Information Sciences, Ain Shams University, Egypt (2002)
- B.Sc. in Computer Science and Pure Math, Ain Shams University, Egypt (1997)

Her research focuses on Intelligent Systems, particularly in Serious Games and Computational Creativity. She has pioneered work in digital improvisation environments, procedural content generation for games, and cognitive script modeling.
