Rani DANG is a Lecturer in Management Sciences at the University School of Economics and Management, Université Côte d'Azur. She holds multiple leadership roles including Vice-President of Entrepreneurship for the university, Director of the Master's in Innovation and Management of Territorial Transition (IMTT) at EUR ELMI, and Director of the university's entrepreneurship center 'UniCA Entreprendre'. She additionally oversees diploma programs in 'Deeptech Entrepreneurship' and 'Student-Entrepreneur' development.
Her research specializes in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, with focus areas including:
- Strategic innovation management (health/ICT/transitions)
- Entrepreneurial ecosystems and territorial development
- Knowledge integration methodologies
- Research-based entrepreneurship (deeptech)
Recent publications (2022-2024) demonstrate strong thematic convergence on deeptech commercialization pathways, analyzing university incubator efficacy, corporate-startup legitimacy transfers, and ecosystem-driven innovation frameworks. Her work consistently examines knowledge translation mechanisms between research and industrial applications.
She leads the university's entrepreneurship hub and is affiliated with the CNRS Research Group in Law, Economics and Management (GREDEG), where she contributes to the 'Alter-Organizing' team investigating alternative management practices.
