Muriel Dal-Pont-Legrand is a University Professor of Economic Sciences at the University of Côte d'Azur, affiliated with the Research Group in Law, Economics, Management (GREDEG) and the EUR ELMI program. She serves as Vice-President for European Affairs at Université Côte d'Azur, coordinating European project participation and institutional visibility in Brussels since 2020.
Her research specializes in the history of economic thought with particular focus on business cycles, macroeconomic theory evolution, and economic expertise institutionalization. Key research trajectories include:
- Analysis of Schumpeter's theories on productive recessions and capitalist dynamics
- Historical examination of French economic expertise during wartime
- Interdisciplinary integration of digital humanities with economic thought history
