Ranen Omer-Sherman is the JHFE Endowed Chair in Judaic Studies at the University of Louisville (UofL), where he has been a faculty member since 2014. Previously, he served as a full professor of English at the University of Miami (promoted in 2009) and taught at Saint Louis University in Madrid, Spain. He holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Notre Dame. His research spans diasporic identities, graphic novels, Israeli/Palestinian literature, Holocaust narratives, and utopian/dystopian themes.
