Ramón Pujol Nadal

Ramón Pujol Nadal is a Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and serves as deputy director of the Higher Polytechnic School. He has over 15 years of university teaching experience and leads the Degree in Industrial Electronic and Automatic Engineering.

His research focuses on concentrated solar thermal energy and perovskite solar cells, with 24 JCR-indexed publications, 40 international conference contributions, and two international patents. He developed the open-source optical analysis software OTSun and has directed five competitive R&D projects at regional, national, and European levels.

Prof. Pujol Nadal actively contributes to international committees (IEA, IEC, AENOR) and the Balearic Government's Committee of Experts on Energy Transition. He reviews for over 15 journals and evaluates university entrance exams in Technology and Engineering.
