Ramzi K. Hemady

Ramzi K. Hemady is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He has been a full-time faculty member since 1991, with clinical roles spanning the main office on Redwood Street, Owings Mills satellite clinic, and the Baltimore VA Medical Center. His career includes leadership positions as Chief of Ophthalmology at the Baltimore VA (over 10 years), Director of Residency Training (10 years), Acting Chair of the Department (5 years), and Head of the Uveitis and Anterior Segment sections.

He also participates in international medical/surgical missions to underserved regions.
