Ramon Mas Sansó

Ramon Mas Sansó is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences and Informatics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), where he has been a full-time Professor Titular since 2000. He serves as Director of the Master's Degree in Intelligent Systems (since 2018) and Secretary of the Doctoral School (since 2019). As a member of the Computer Graphics, Vision and Artificial Intelligence Unit (UGIVIA), his research focuses on graphics, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction.

His research spans computer animation, balance control of articulated systems, user interfaces, and multidisciplinary applications in nursing/physiotherapy. He has participated in over 20 research projects and published more than 20 journal articles and 50 conference papers.

Ramon leads academic commissions for degree programs in Computer Science, Intelligent Systems, and Artificial Intelligence. He teaches algorithms, data structures, programming languages, and artificial intelligence courses across multiple UIB campuses.
