Dr. Ramiz Ur Rehman is a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance at Teesside University International Business School (UK) and concurrently holds an Adjunct Associate Professor position at Sohar University (Oman). He has held leadership roles including Head of Lahore Business School (The University of Lahore, Pakistan) and Program Coordinator for Bachelor in Accountancy at Sohar University. His research focuses on corporate governance, environmental management, and financial performance, with grants from Oman’s Ministry of Higher Education. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Finance Research Journal and received the Eminent Researcher of the Year Award (2023).

Recent studies explore CEO attributes’ impact on firm risk-taking and borrowing costs, leveraging statistical models to analyze board dynamics and climate-related systemic risks.
