Rami Isaac

Rami Isaac is a Senior Lecturer in Tourism at Breda University of Applied Sciences and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, Bethlehem University. He holds a PhD in Spatial Sciences from the University of Groningen (The Netherlands), with undergraduate and graduate studies in the Netherlands and the UK. His research focuses on tourism's socio-political dimensions, including host-guest relations, critical theory, dark tourism, and tourism in conflict zones. He currently serves as Vice-President of the International Sociologist Association's Research Committee 50 on International Tourism (2018–2024).
