Ralph Cohen

Professor Ralph Cohen is a Clinical Professor in Paediatric Surgery and Urology at the Australian National University's School of Medicine and Psychology. He concurrently serves as a Senior Staff Specialist at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Visiting Medical Officer at Sydney Adventist Hospital. His international training includes clinical research fellowships at The Hospital for Sick Children (Great Ormond Street, London), and The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto where he obtained his Master of Surgery degree.

Professor Cohen's clinical expertise focuses on:

• General paediatric surgical and urological conditions
• Minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques
• Management of congenital renal abnormalities including PUJ obstruction and duplex systems
• Treatment of undescended testes, inguinal hernias, and hydroceles

He previously held leadership positions as Head of the Department of Surgery at the Children’s Hospital Westmead.
