Rakan Alseghayer

Rakan Alseghayer is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh, affiliated with the Advanced Data Management Technologies (ADMT) Lab under Dr. Panos K. Chrysanthis and Dr. Constantinos Costa. He holds an MS in Information Science (Networking & Security) and a BS in Computer Science from King Saud University. His academic roles include Researcher at ADMT Lab (2022–2023) and multiple teaching roles as a Teaching Assistant and Lecturer at both Pitt and King Saud University.

He has pioneered frameworks like e-Racoon for indoor contact tracing and DCS for real-time data stream correlation.
