Rajni Patel is a Professor at the University of Western Ontario, affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering and the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. She serves as Director of Engineering for Canadian Surgical Technologies & Advanced Robotics (CSTAR) at the London Health Sciences Centre and Lawson Health Research Institute.

- Professional Affiliations: PEng (Ontario), Tier-1 Canada Research Chair
Research Interests: Robotics, Mechatronics, Haptics, Systems and Control, Artificial Neural Networks, Intelligent Systems, Teleoperation, Medical Applications (Surgery, Neurological Disorders), Space Applications.
