Dr. Rajesh Tharyan is an Associate Professor of Economics and Finance at the Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, and currently serves as Head of the Finance subject group. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Exeter Business School, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA in Finance. His research focuses on asset pricing, corporate finance, ESG, and governance. Notable contributions include work on multi-factor models in the UK, covenant-lite contracts, and the impact of ESG disclosures.
