Rajesh K. Gupta

Rajesh K. Gupta is a Professor and Qualcomm Endowed Chair in Embedded Microsystems at UC San Diego's Department of Computer Science and Engineering, where he leads the Microelectronic Embedded Systems Laboratory (MESL). He serves as Associate Director of the Qualcomm Institute (Calit2) and previously chaired his department. His research bridges embedded systems, IoT, and cyber-physical systems, with recent focus on federated learning, time-series analysis, and building operating systems.

Research Focus: Dr. Gupta's work spans embedded computer systems, sensor networks, and IoT methodologies. Current projects emphasize:
