Professor Rainer Michael Rilke is a Professor of Behavioral Economics at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, leading the Chair of Behavioral Economics since April 2024. He holds a doctoral degree from the University of Cologne (2014) and a Diplom in Economics from the University of Bonn (2009). His research focuses on behavioral and experimental economics, with emphasis on topics like cheating, team dynamics, and algorithmic impact on behavior. He has conducted research at Harvard University and the University of Amsterdam, and previously served as an assistant professor at WHU and a senior consultant at Baker Tilly Roelfs.
