Rainer Klopfer

Rainer Klopfer is a full-time Professor of Civil and Civil Procedure Law at Kalaidos Law School, part of Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences since 2017. He combines his academic role with legal practice as a Counsel at BEE LEGAL (Bösiger, Engel, Egloff) since 2014.

Klopfer has held significant judicial roles, including President of the Higher Court of Zurich (2004–2008) and Senior Judge at the First Civil Chamber (1994–2004). He contributes to legal education as a founding member of JUS-ALUMNI Zurich and through membership in the Zurich Constitutional Council and Swiss Criminalistic Society.
