Dr. Rainer Just is a Lecturer at the Department of European and Comparative Literature and Language Studies at the University of Vienna. His teaching focuses on literary theory and Gothic fiction, with recent courses including "The Indetermination of Literature - About the Fantastic of Writing" (2025W), "Uncanny social criticism - Gothic Fiction in the 20th/21st century" (2025S), and "The Framing of the Uncanny - On social and theoretical history of the Gothic Novel" (2024W).
