Mag. Dr. Daniel Syrovy is a Privatdozent affiliated with the Department of European and Comparative Literature and Language Studies at the University of Vienna. He serves as Vice-Director of Studies and teaches courses such as Comparative Literature, General Literature, Narrative Techniques of Fantastic Literature, and History of Reading.
Office Hours: Mondays, 15:00-16:00 (requires prior written appointment via email).
Research Focus: His work spans modernist narrative techniques, censorship since the 18th century, interdisciplinary communication of research, and the evolution of literary theory in science fiction and fantastic literature.
