Rainer Diriwächter is a Professor of Psychology and Department Chair at California Lutheran University (CLU). He specializes in the history of German psychology, particularly the 'Ganzheitspsychologie' (holistic psychology) tradition, and has contributed to theoretical syntheses in psychology through his research and publications. His work integrates interdisciplinary perspectives, emphasizing microgenesis and the constructive mind in action.
Dr. Diriwächter serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Integrated Social Sciences (JISS.org), Distinguished Editorial Advisor for Culture & Psychology (SAGE), and editorial board member for Integrative Psychological and Behavioral Science (Springer). At CLU, he advises the Psi Chi honor society and the Interdisciplinary Research Council (IRC).
